Adaptation Fund: Demands by NGOs
The UN Climate Summit in Bali decided
to give developing countries direct access to the Adaptation Fund under
the Kyoto Protocol. In order to make this reality, the Adaptation Fund
must be equipped with adequate authority. Several environment and development
NGOs have demanded the operationalisation of the Adaptation Fund
on 11 December 2008.
