St. Petersburg General Assembly (9-10 October 2012)
The EU-Russia Civil Society Forum (hereinafter the Forum) is cordially inviting you to take part in its annual general assembly, held on 9-10 October 2012 in Saint Petersburg. Following the previous conferences in Prague and Warsaw, the assembly will discuss various topics relevant to civil society actors in both Russia and the EU, evaluate the recent developments of the Forum as well as work on the further consolidation of its agenda.
Programme:
Among the civil-society topics, the Forum's general assembly will discuss some of the most pressing issues such as public assembly law, LGBT rights, economic crisis and its implications, as well as ecological impact of urban development.
Similar to the previous general assemblies, the core of the activity will be again the Forum’s working groups, which will hold their meetings during the both days of the general assembly and present the drafts of their policy papers at the end of the assembly. The policy papers will be drafted with the view to present them at the next EU-Russia summit.
