Germanwatch is commissioning a consultancy to map international and regional initiatives, programmes, and funding streams relevant to climate-related Loss and Damage, with a particular focus on how they reach and support the most climate-vulnerable populations. The assignment will assess initiatives across climate finance, disaster risk management, social protection, humanitarian assistance, and related sectors, identifying their approaches to targeting vulnerable groups and enabling access to support. The findings will inform advocacy and policy engagement for the establishment of Bangladesh’s National Mechanism on Loss and Damage, as well as international processes such as the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage.
